1. OK, so I still believe the patriarchy is harming some men. But that’s not the most important thing.

It’s more important to start fighting the injustices women face, giving up some of our unfair advantages before we start fixing ours.

Maybe when the women’s liberation movement has some real traction, and if we men can put our problems on hold long enough to be respectful and helpful (considering we are fighting the same system after all) then we might get a better response… And maybe some help from newly liberated women.

Maybe not. But I’ve not heard anything men have to put up with that’s as bad as what women do. Sure we will be abused trying to help women by men, it’s “unmanly”. And if we do it wrong we’ll be abused by women for not getting it.

We owe it to ourselves to try and right these wrongs.

  4. Anonymous asked: i'm so sick of seeing your dumb arse questions on my friedns blogs. stfu

You know what? I don’t have to justify myself to anyone.

I’m confident that I’m a decent person and treat everyone with respect.

Even you mysterious anon. I hope you have a nice day :)

  5. Anonymous asked: YOU THINK YOUR SO MUCH BETTER THEN MRAS?!!??! you are the biggest fucking cliche

Oh no, I care about men’s rights as well as women’s… I must be evil.

Honestly I wish I was cliche. More MRAs would support women’s rights and actually try to expand their horizons.

  6. Anonymous asked: you always go on about respect WHERE IS THE RESPECT FOR THE WOMEN YOU MAKE JUSTIFY THEIR POSITION ON FEMINISM AND RAPE?

I don’t ever ask women to justify their position on rape. Rape is disgusting and always *only* the fault of the perpetrator. We need to be doing more to help people feel comfortable to speak out.

And I think I’m a lot more respectful than certain anons.

  7. Anonymous asked: dont you ever get tired of bombarding girls with questions about feminism and the patriachy? just do some fucking research yourself instead of expecting women to talk about things that might actually be fucking difficult to discuss

I do research. I usually end up being wrong. As has been pointed out I “have who idea how it feels to be oppressed!!1!” so there is only one reliable way to learn.

If I’ve put someone in an uncomfortable or painful situation I’m very sorry.

Because equality is such a bad thing :/

It’s about promoting Women’s Liberation, bc men are at a stage of oppression, where it would be impossible for two equal forces of gender-based oppression to function without a substantial amount of oppressed groups/people (the other part of an oppressive system). We don’t want to be equal to the oppressive force, we want to be liberated.

    Get it?

But at the end of that, once liberated we should be equal, right? Women with more overall power than they had, men with less overall until we were true equals.

That’s the equality I want. I want people to realise it doesn’t matter what’s on the outside, we should all respect each other by default until an individual proves they aren’t worthy of it.

Maybe that’s too pie in the sky…

    shut the fuck up

that is not what this is saying

read it again, emphasis on the first line

OK I read it again… Women’s liberation = good and needed.

Equality for women and everyone, no matter what race/gender/income/status… Better.

Women’s liberation is necessary for equality. True equality should be the final goal of all “rights” groups.
